Meet Stacey (of the soul flower karma krewe)

Stacey first got in touch with us at Soul Flower by writing some amazing reviews on our website. Then we noticed she had soulflower in her email address &, there you go, the timing was right & the bond was formed 🙂 Welcome Stacey! Hey all you Soul Flower buds! My name is Stacey and I currently reside in Leominster, Massachusetts along with my mini lop-eared bunny, Terence. I recently turned 21 years old and am still in the process of figuring out exactly what I would like to spend the rest of my life doing. As of now, I work at the Leominster Public Library and play trumpet professionally for weddings, funerals, and special occasions.

I have 43 dreadlocks, am a vegetarian, and care deeply about people, animals, and the environment. I enjoy traveling, plants, bonsai, music (listening and playing!), reading, writing, poetry, cooking, making jewelry, and spending time with my wonderful boyfriend.

My Favorite Person: My amazing best friend and love of my life, Ricky.
My Favorite Vacation EVER: This past summer, my boyfriend and I took our first road trip across the U.S. It was a life-altering experience. I had no idea how beautiful my own country was!

Sheila is a long-time customer from Philly who makes some supa-sweet jewelry. Truth is, we love her stuff so much we wanted to carry it at Soul Flower. It ends up her items are so special and one-of-a-kind that it didn’t work out to sell them here. My name is Sheila and I live and work in in the Philadelphia area. I love hanging out in the beautiful outdoors of The City of Brotherly Love, but I also love to travel with my favorite person, my hubby Evan. Our favorite trip so far was a road trip through the Pacific Northwest along highway 20 last Summer. This country is so beautiful! My soulflower gear made it easy to just pack and go!! Hey there, My name is Trish. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my husband, daughter, and many pets. My husband and I see over 100 shows a year and live for live music. I work for numerous promoters and enjoy sharing my passion for live music with my daughter and everyone else I meet. I also love hanging with my family, reading, sewing, beading, and traveling.

When we created the Karma Krewe, Lourenda, aka LouDog, was at the top of our list of customers we should ask to be on our street team – she has been buying from us for years, and probably more kind threads than any other customer. And not just that, she calls & emails us with positive messages all the time. Thanks for that LouDog! Here she is:

My name is Lourenda C. I was born and raised in St.Pete, FL. I currently live in Clarksville, TN, because i was stationed here due to the Army. My husband and I will be returning to St.Pete this year.

I was recently medically retired, so i spend most of my days on the computer, painting, crocheting, beading, and planning ahead for future shows and festivals. My favorite things to do other than spending time with my husband and animals, and listening to music, is being on the road, meeting new interesting, colorful people at shows and festivals.

My Favorite Vacation EVER: When i came home from Iraq for some r and r. I hadn’t seen my family for 8 months and i was able to come to the states for 15 days before i was to return.
My Favorite live show EVER: I got to see Allman Brothers Band, at the Wanee River Music festival, in live oak Florida! Awesome!!!! The best ever!!

Meet Kristen of the Karma Krewe!

Throughout the next few weeks, we will be introducing you to the group of buds that make up our street team, the karma krewe. The Karma Krewe works hard to create a buzz online and offline about our little boutique catalog & internet shop. Hey Buds, Kristen here. I’m from the Chicago-land area but currently reside in Iowa City and absolutely love it. I go to school at the University of Iowa and am a theater major. I also work for a production company on campus called SCOPE Productions where I book, promote and produce live concerts (the best one was probably the Bob Dylan/ Elvis Costello show, it was crazy being around those legends!)
