The Cranberry Wine Boho Dress! Perfect color for a quick evening walk and little photographic adventure! We loved how the color popped against the faded dry corn field. The days are getting shorter and shorter and we just missed the sun on the fields! My kids still thought it was fun to park in the middle of the road and get out to snap some pictures. All of our neighbors are used to seeing us out and about, camera in hand, usually dressed up or sometimes dressed weird or in costumes. Props, furniture or whatever in hand. Even on our 15 minute adventures, we have a blast and come home laughing-it’s cool to have some pictures sometimes to visually remember 🙂 Marli looks so grown up in these shots though! And when she is the subject, just outside most of the shots are her brothers doing something silly, trying to make her laugh. Or standing with me, directing the frame and helping me with the camera settings-little photographers in training 🙂
I tried to get some details of the dress but they are really just so much better in person! The sleeves bell ever so slightly, the shoulders have really fine crochet work, the embroidered details on the front and hem keep it interesting but not too busy. Its fabric is light and airy and appropriate for any season. Would even be perfect for winter with boots and leggings or jeans! Aside from this mini photo shoot, Marli paired it with black/burgundy patterned leggings and black Converse 🙂 Even though the dress is in women’s sizes, we got the Cranberry Wine Boho Dress as part of Marli’s back to school wardrobe-its super cute, versatile and comfortable!
