Last week I flew over to Maui for the weekend and immediately fell in love all over (which seems to happen every time I visit.)  I think Mark Twain said it best, “I went to Maui to stay a week and remained five. I never spent so pleasant a month before, or bade any place goodbye so regretfully. I have not once thought of business, or care or human toil or trouble or sorrow or weariness, and the memory of it will remain with me always.”

This trip wasn’t the usual trip to Maui to visit friends or check out music. This trip was much more important.  My boyfriend and I were on the island to find a permanent residence.  We have decided to give up the “city” life of Oahu and begin a new adventure.
