In honor of Earth Day, we decided to take a little break and spend some time picking up trash near the Soul Flower office. It’s amazing how much garbage just a couple people can pick up in only an hour! If anything, it taught us that small efforts can make a big difference. Thanks to our pick-up, the ducks and geese that hang out at the pond across the street won’t have to wade through bits of plastic, cigarette butts, and Styrofoam to take a dip! In honor of Earth Day, we encourage all you buds to take a short walk around your neighborhood with a garbage bag and clean up your community. You’ll be amazed at what a difference you can make! Blog Image garbage1 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 Blog Image garbage2 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 garbage3 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015Blog Image garbage4 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 garbage5 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015Blog Image garbage6 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 Blog Image garbage7 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 Blog Image garbage8 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 Blog Image garbage9 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 Blog Image garbage10 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 Blog Image garbage11 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015 garbage12 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015Blog Image garbage13 - Trash Pick Up: Earth Day 2015

Wearing gloves is a great idea I never thought of. I pick up a lot of road side trash when I walk for exercise. I cleaned up the local HS walking around it all summer. Good job everyone!
