It’s that time of year again! Time to introduce our new 2016-17 Vibe Tibe members! This group of buds are about as unique as they come and we are so excited for them to share their stories with you for the next year.
Abbi
Hi friends!
My name is Abbi & I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in Indiana but recently moved to Oregon. It has been a fun adventure transitioning to call the west coast home. Fun fact: I am a twin and we were born on the cusp of Cancer and Gemini. My middle name is also Gemini so it is kind of perfect 😉
I love to stay busy whether it be running my small business on Etsy with my partner or staying active physically. Hula hoop dancing and practicing yoga basically keep me sane. I enjoy crafting and creating jewelry, dreamcatchers, and even succulent arrangements. I love plants, camping, and live music. When I’m relaxing Youtube and Netflix are my guilty pleasures, oops!
Peace! <3
Adam
Wow, part of the the Vibe Tribe – pretty cool! Over the next year, I will take you everywhere I go (hint: we’ll get there by bike) and show you everything I do (and don’t do). With luck, we’ll see some puppies!Blog Image
For your information, these little adventures are brought to you by Adam Ruggiero, a 33-year-old cisgendered male. Please feel free to use the pronouns he/him/his and I’ll use I/me/myself. Among the things I enjoy most (of which you’ll catch a glimpse) are slinging wood-fired pizza, riding and racing bikes, and finding really groovy spots to make campfire burritos.
Katrina
In 2010, after working for almost 30 years in Corporate America, I resigned from my position as an executive at a $41 billion bank to pursue my other dream. I always wanted to be a full-time author and keynote speaker and now I dedicate my time to helping people around the world live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. I’m the author of Wholarian Vision and The Mustard Seed Way, as well as an ordained interfaith minister. I am passionate about the topics of health, wellness and longevity and currently live on a farm in Kentucky with my awesome husband, four dogs and four cats.
Rebecca
My name is Rebecca I am a yoga instructor as well as a yoga student . I enjoy crafting, making jewelry, and cooking . I have a sweet little family that I love dearly ! I love body positivity and believe that size or shape doesn’t define who you are as a person .
Hollie
Hello! I’m Hollie! I’m a goofball, a blogger, a wife and a stay at home mother of two. I just recently “retired” from owning and directing the Texarkana Renaissance Faire. I gave the faire to a good friend of mine and demoted myself to assistant director and performer so I can have more time to focus on my family, my health and my blog. I thoroughly enjoy throwing themed parties, attending small-town festivals and learning useless facts about history. Music, dance and laughter are my preferred choice of medicine and dreaming big for my family’s future is the fuel to my soul’s fire.
Amanda
Growing up in rural Connecticut I was lucky enough to entertain myself outside, exploring the woods and streams around my house. I was always found lurking around my dad’s woodshed watching him fix things and letting the saw dust smell soak into my skin. I attended the University of Connecticut where I studied Natural Resources and got the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica and Honduras. My upbringing has given me a strong appreciation for Mother Nature and an itch to travel. I enjoy getting my hands dirty, hiking anywhere, and crafting my heart out. If I’m not hugging a dog, then you can probably find me somewhere dreaming about whales. Dream big.
Emily
Hi! I’m Emily. A west coast girl living the dream in NYC. I’m a Social Work graduate student, vegetarian, photographer, and wife. I’m obsessed with traveling, Stephen King, and videos of sloths. If you want to be my friend, just show me some pictures of puppies. Nice to meet you!
Madison
Hello! I’m Madison. I’m a yogi, backpacker, hiker, writer, and editor with a passion for the environment. I live in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado with my fiance where we are always biking, hiking, running, snowboarding, or snowshoeing! After hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013, I knew I wanted a happy life full of adventure and new experiences. I promised myself I would never suffer at a job I didn’t love, so I decided to become a freelancer and small business owner. I run a vintage clothing store on Etsy, Dizzy Dreamer Vintage, and I write my days away (when I’m not playing outside!). My writing typically focuses on hiking or yoga tips, budget travel, travel for couples, and vegetarian wellness. I do believe my mental health relies on my travel addiction. My obsession for the mountains only rivals my love for a beautiful beach. My fiance and I are notorious for planning last-minute adventures, and at this point, I believe I’m the queen of spontaneous travel. I look forward to sharing my free-spirited adventures with you. May 31, 2017 at 11:15 pm (7 years ago)Sounding just like something I would write, perfectly. I am the barefoot, old soul hippy! Not a new bread that barely understands what “Woodstock” was other than a wood pecker of some sorts. Ha. I just had to reply because your comment grabbed out at me. My feet have beat the dusty ground and will continue until they become apart of it.
I am hoping to become apart of the team of Soul on here of some kind. Oh, I am Karen
